Mansfield Christmas Lights Switch-on

This year’s Big Switch On will take place on Sunday 19 November in Mansfield.  The whole town centre will be alive with FREE activities to get everyone into the festive spirit.  There’s a chance to see Marshall from PAW Patrol at intervals throughout the day, visit Santa in his grotto in Four Seasons, take part in the Buzzy B Club activities and sample a variety of food from the food court.  There’s also a children’s Christmas party at 3pm on the main stage to get children geared up and ready for the main show.

The main stage show in the Market Place starts at 3.25pm with live music by a Michael Buble tribute act, Kai McKenzie, and Vicky Jackson, who will provide an up-tempo mix of pop favourites.  There will also be special appearances from the cast of this year’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk from the Palace Theatre.  And, for the first time ever, a stunning laser show timed to music.  The day finishes with the town’s Christmas lights being switch on and an impressive firework finale.  View full details here.
