Second slice of Pye for Nottingham auctioneer as another showroom opens this year

John Pye Auctions has announced the opening of its second showroom this year at its Nottingham hub to accommodate its growing stock volumes and customer base.

The new showroom will display a variety of stock from technology and white goods to furniture and homeware. When launched, it will be the seventh showroom at John Pye Auctions’ Nottingham hub.

This comes only seven months after the opening of the firm’s sixth showroom at the Nottingham site, which is also where the firm’s headquarters is based.

Visitors to the auction site have continued to grow each year and more than 75,000 bids have been placed at Nottingham alone this year.

The new 4,000 sq. ft indoor showroom at the site in James Shipstone House on Radford Road will open on 2 August and will be open for public viewing on Saturdays from 9am until 11am.

John Pye Auctions has grown from one trading site to 22 across England, Scotland and Wales in the last seven years and has grown its workforce from 24 to more than 400 in the last 15 years.

John Pye Auctions has five trading departments, all supplying stock and assets for sale: John Pye Retail, John Pye Luxury, John Pye Property, John Pye Business Assets and John Pye Vehicles.

This year marks yet another milestone year for John Pye as it celebrates its 50th year of business; the firm will be marking this achievement with several business development announcements to further bolster its client and customer service offerings, hosting celebration events and giving back to the communities in which it trades.
