Partners and staff at one of the East of England’s leading accountancy firms, Moore Thompson, have congratulated two trainees after they passed prestigious professional exams.
Junior accountants, Ricky Patel and Corey Wiles, have both recently passed exams as part of their training with the practice, which has offices in Spalding, Peterborough, Wisbech and Market Deeping.
For Ricky, who works out of the firm’s new office in Peterborough, the latest pass marked the start of his journey towards becoming a fully-fledged Chartered accountant, having passed his first ACA paper, which is set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Meanwhile, Corey has completed his initial apprenticeship with the firm, having completed the Level 4 AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualifications.
Based in Market Deeping, he works within the accounts and audit team to support partners and more senior team members and is now looking to begin the process of becoming a Chartered Accountant himself.
Craig Reid, Training Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “On behalf of everyone at Moore Thompson I would like to congratulate Ricky and Corey on their exam success. These are tough exams, which must be sat alongside their day to day work as accountants, so it is no easy task to pass these papers.
“Corey should be particularly proud of completing this AAT qualification and I hope to hear more about his success as begins his training for the ACA.”
