On Friday 5th October Mansfield District Council launched their Developer Forum. The event was well attended by a range of local land owners, developers and agents.
We recently held our first Developer Forum which forms part of the council’s new proactive approach on improving the delivery of housing and other schemes. The forum intends to create open and transparent channels of communication between developers and officers, which in turn will improve our working relationship and improve the pre-application and planning application processes. At the first event, a number of organisations and developers, including Homes England, D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership and Bowden Land, joined council officers to present and discuss future plans for housing developments in Mansfield. Hear what they had to say in the video below.

The developer forum is part of their proactive approach to improve the delivery of schemes with planning permission, schemes that have yet to proceed and also encourage new schemes to come forward. In addition, the forum intends to create open and transparent channels of communication between developers and officers, which in turn will improve our working relationship with you and improve the pre-application and planning application processes.
