Planning consultant GraceMachin has announced the opening of a new office at 2 Hollowstone in Nottingham city centre.
Set up by Chartered Town Planners Nick Grace and George Machin in 2012, GraceMachin has relocated to the new premises in the Lace Market to accommodate business growth.
The business has recently appointed Jo Pearson as office manager, and is looking to expand further over the next 12-18 months, with full time positions available for both a graduate planner and a senior/associate planner.
Nick said: “George and I have worked hard to build the reputation of GraceMachin as the go to planning consultant and moving to larger premises in the heart of the vibrant Lace Market was a natural next step for us to facilitate our growth.”
With over 35 years of combined experience in planning, Nick and George chose the contemporary, self-contained office to accommodate the growing business but also for its well positioned street facing location on one of Nottingham’s busy routes into the city centre.
Working across the UK but with a focus on the East Midlands, GraceMachin offers specialist planning services in residential, commercial, leisure and retail as well as agricultural, healthcare and education.
George added: “We are busy and expanding and we are very much looking forward to what’s to come in 2019. Our investment in this new space is further testament to our commitment to the area and wanting to further grow our team and services for our clients.
“With our new office and the appointment of Jo as office manager, it’s an exciting time for GraceMachin.”
GraceMachin has grown organically and its impressive portfolio spans a variety of projects from single dwellings, listed commercial properties to substantial land schemes.
Current local projects include large student residential schemes in central Nottingham, private detached homes in the Vale of Belvoir and dementia care home works in Nottinghamshire.
