Flying car team announces exciting collaboration with Kahn Design

The UK’s leading luxury vehicle coach builder and the world’s most innovative flying car designers have agreed a collaboration. VRCO Limited, which is targeting 2020 for the NeoXcraft’s first flights, signed a memorandum of understanding with Kahn Design to support the interior design component of the aircraft. The NeoXcraft project captured worldwide headlines two weeks ago after it was revealed that VRCO has been working with the University of Derby’s Institute of Innovation. The company is aiming its flying car at the luxury market with the aim of short high-speed journeys to be taken in comfort and style and with absolute safety. The craft will incorporate navigation and communication systems which feature on leading aircraft as well as state-of-the-art sensors. VRCO is determined to create a premium luxury craft which is why it is proud to announce that its cabin will be a bespoke Kahn Edition interior. Kahn is the ‘dream factory’ which has a reputation for innovative and inspirational designs. Its worldclass team has an exciting blend and breadth of expertise and experience. Afzal Kahn at Khan Design said “Our industrial designers are experienced in a breadth of project work that ranges from the precision of fine Swiss timepieces to the elegant fluency of high performance sports car design and now we are delighted and extremely excited to support this true British project which will test the limit of form, function, luxury and weight reduction. “The application of the project’s design innovation into other projects is also very exciting and makes for a compelling collaboration.” Daniel Hayes, CEO at VRCO said: “We are delighted to have such a successful design partner which really understands the demands of our clientele, along with the constraints and manufacturing challenges of this type of project. “We know that his design will be in high demand by future craft owners”. “As British companies are renowned for their innovation, inventiveness and resilience, this is an example of putting current and future export opportunities at the forefront of aviation and motor vehicle engineering excellence”, added Daniel.
