Chestnut Homes, Lindum Group and Willmott Dixon were among some of the seven winners at last night’s new Property and Construction Awards 2017.

The awards, hosted by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, welcomed over 300 people to The Engine Shed where guests were entertained by TV star and property expert Charlie Luxton.

Guests were greeted with a glass of fizz at the drinks reception before making their way into the main hall for live entertainment and a three course meal.

TV presenter Charlie Luxton then made his way onto the stage to talk about the fantastic construction and property work being achieved across Greater Lincolnshire, and the connection between the awards and Lincolnshire’s Chamber’s monthly property and construction networking forum.

From its heritage, to housing and contemporary style designs, we’re very proud of the sector for all it has achieved.

“I would like to say a massive congratulations to all the winners who we know have worked on many interesting and challenging projects across Greater Lincolnshire. I’d also like to thank the Engine Shed for having us, we couldn’t have picked a better location right in the heart of Lincoln City surrounded by some amazing construction work which is currently underway.

Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce also commented saying:

“This is something that myself and the rest of the Construction Steering Group have been working towards for almost five years and it’s a huge step for the sector here in Lincolnshire. It feels great to have had such huge interest from businesses across the county, and we’re so pleased they made it here this evening. Lincolnshire Chamber feel very privileged to have been such a huge part of this and we’re looking forward to what we will do next”.
