This intensive 2 day workshop led by an experienced business trainer will teach you the nuts and bolts of starting and running a successful business. This includes what skills are needed to run a business and the importance of Business Planning. It will also cover how to market your business, understanding opportunities and risks and how to manage money in a business.
Week 2 – 1 Day Business Plan – 12 February
“He who fails to plan is planning to fail!” – Sir Winston Churchill
It’s time to focus on the Business Plan, the all-important ‘road map’ for your business. Of course, if you are looking to raise money through loans, investment or grants then you’ll need a business plan. If not, it’s simple: businesses with a clear, well thought-out Business Plan survive and grow better than those without.
In this interactive full-day session, you’ll learn the component parts of the Business Plan. You’ll also learn how to ask yourself the right questions and the importance of comprehensive market research. Also how to calculate your start-up costs and how to develop realistic financial projections.
In addition, we will also cover the additional support NBV can provide once you are up and running. This includes business advice, business workshops, networking, office facilities and much more.
Upon completion of the 3 days, you’ll get a certificate and, more importantly, you’ll have everything you need to get your business up and running! Furthermore, the Starting in Business programme is offered regularly in a number of different locations. Find out exactly where and register.
Invest Ashfield & Mansfield will also be on hand to explain more about our business start-up grant for new businesses in Ashfield and Mansfield. What’s more, we also offer retail grants for those operating out of shop premises. Find out more about all our grants.
